Mdina
24 “ x 24” Oil, Craypas, Linen and Plaster on Masonite
Created in 2025 and inspired by the medieval city in Malta. Warm red ochre border represents late afternoon light on ancient buildings, while the cooler blue green is the Ionian sea. The boundary between the central canvas and the background implies a tension between two realms: the gentle, introspective central space of the ocean surrounded by the scarred terracotta of man-made forms.
